Will and Tess were coming up from London to visit!
Why was I so excited? I hadn’t seen either of them since the 1920’s themed new year party at their penthouse in Clapham. So Seb and I decided to make the most of it and had a few people over for drinks at our flat.
As with most ‘small gatherings’, it started sanely with a few bottles of wine and champagne.
It was quite a refined affair, we had a chance to catch up on life and all the latest gossip. I hadn’t seen a lot of these guys for over two months and that is a LOT to catch up on!
we I decided it was time to swap the bottles of Châteauneuf-du-Pape for some good old Tequila. And it all went downhill from there.
We had a few shots.
And a few more.
And this happened…
If you’re not sure what ‘this’ is, it’s Ash doing his infamous backwards tea pot. And boy is he good – I haven’t seen any man or women who can do the backwards tea pot as well as Ash.
After a few more drinks, we decided to head out to Mojo’s to start the night.
I love Mojo’s – its one of my favourite bars in Manchester and the music isn’t too bad either. They even have this tube map with musicians and bands making up the tube stops.
Pretty cool eh? James agrees anyways.
After taking one last selfie for the road, we decided to call it a night and find our way back home.
What a night it was! I might tone down on the tequila next time. Errm who I am kidding? That is never going to happen.
