Brunch. My one true love. <3

There is nothing more that pleases me than a good brunch surrounded by family, friends and food. The only way you could top that in my eyes; is by adding champagne and a mimosa or two (read ten!).

So when EatFirst invited me to the launch of their brunch menu in collaboration with the Berlin popup Brünch, I couldn’t refuse even if I tried.

The Little Yellow Door

Hosted at one of my favourite popup restaurants in London, The Little Yellow Door, this brunch was as good as it gets. Seb and I were treated to the EatFirst booze menu when we arrived, which includes my new favourite drink – The Clear Mary. It’s a Bloody Mary minus the red, served with pickles, celery flowers and Our/London Vodka! My new favourite drink came with a side of great music courtesy of the DJ who only made this brunch even better.

Not sure what EatFirst is? Well let me tell you! EatFirst is a delivery service that delivers beautifully designed, chef made meals at the time and place of your choice. It’s a great option if you are trying to juggle life and work, and want to stay away from that calorific unhealthy takeaway (we have all had those days!). They have a great app too which makes the whole process so easy. The menu is seasonal so you are bound to find something new and exciting everyday. I am massive fan of these guys already!

If you love brunch as much as I do, you are going to love their menu. Butternut Squash and Feta, Goats Cheese and Strawberry, Avocado and Beetroot and my personal favourite Almond Butter and Banana all served on freshly made rustic Sourdough Sliders. Noemi, the founder of Brünch also designed a great sharing platter called the Berliner for the menu which includes some Berlin favourites including Cumin Gouda and German Pepper Salami. I cannot recommend this enough. All freshly made and packaged beautifully, Seb and I ate a lot more than we should have. Trust me, it’s hard to resist when the food is this good!

The next time you find yourself having one of ‘those’ days; and you just can’t be arsed getting out, you know what to do. Brunch in bed anyone? 🙂

I was invited to the EatFirst brunch menu launch by EatFirst but all opinions are my own (as always)
